I've never done it on a finished assembled car, but they say to remove the rearend and drive shaft first, or the only other way is to pull the engine.

There ain't no easy way. Pull the engine or pull the rearend. Lucky for you, Lou Grosso ( Early Ford v8 ) recently moved to NC. He'll have all the parts you need.

This sounds like a big job but it is not. You will have lots of room for wrenches and all fractional size nuts and bolts. Make sure you have the car on good jacks if you remove the rearend. A friend helping is a good idea.

Do not get me started on the stupidity of ethanol. I think one of the monitors is from Iowa and he will delete the thread.

Sounds right, but search older threads, this was brought up in detail before, and I think they said you'll have to slightly jack up the rear of the engine to clear the mounts or something? Good luck
