Re: Speedometer for 36 to S 10 tail shaft transmission?

aandkt ......It seemed obvious (at the time) that you believed many of us had lost our minds. But it takes quite a guy to come back here tonight professing the final, successful results of your efforts, plus we ALL now know (with absolute certainty) that this combo actually works, and thank YOU for that! Most importantly though, how's about that T5 now that you have it going? Pretty slick, eh? DD |

Re: Speedometer for 36 to S 10 tail shaft transmission?
I am almost at the point of driving the car but I have a few bugs to clear up and then get that spare tire assembly completed. I put 15 inch tires on and had to make an adapter to accept the smaller 1940 5x5 1/2 x16 bolt pattern wheel to my wide 5 1936 trunk mount and have it fit into original cover with the original lock.
Now I need to redrill the trunk holes and hope the reinforcement bracket in the trunk will accept my tire mount. To be continued |
