Gramma’s been dead for almost 50 years. However I had a 39 Huppmobile in her garage, while she was alive.

Haven't you heard? Grandma got run over by a reindeer. Somebody oughta write a song about that. You know - the kind of song, whose tune you can't get out of your head, no matter how hard you try. It just keeps looping over and over in your brain until the 10,000,000th playing of "Feliz Navidad" takes its place.
Now, try and get those two tunes out of your head tonight. Just TRY to do it. Snicker, snicker, snicker...

Gramma died in 1922. Her house was not owned by her, just living with a brother.

Grandkids coming to my house have shown very little to no interest in Model A's. One had "Big Truck" syndrone that is being cured by having difficulty parking it near his abode. Too tall for the garage and limited parking on the streets nearby. Great for when he's at sea. It sits on the Coast Guard dock until he gets back.

My Grandma would be 125 if she was still with us. My Dad left home in 1930 when he ran Grandpa's new AA into a tree. :-)

My father’s mother was born in 1873. She had a horse named Minnie and later a Model T. I have a grandmother who lives with me, too.

for most of us, we are the grandpa and grandma's.... and the kids come to our house.

Got a contest going on this afternoon between one of the granddaughters and her boyfriend. They argue which one is the better stick shift driver. Gonna put each one in the A pickup and see which one grinds the less/more. Not going to tell then about the fuel shut off either. he-he. ken

I'll be driving the car over to the family meal (just a ten mile trip), and offer rides to the grandchildren. Being old is not so bad a thing when you have great ride.

Grandma's house? This IS grandma's house, and the kids are coming in a few hours in modern iron. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Our Canadian Thanksgiving was last month. This Grandpa and Grandma drove the A to our daughter's house to play with our Granddaughter. Great Grandpa and Great Grandma were there too. Good photo op. Jeff

Are there any Thanksgiving songs besides "Over the River and Through the Woods"? I mean, it'd be kind of hard to get the family together to sing Thanksgiving songs if there was only one. TONS of Christmas songs (carols), but I can't come up with another dedicated Thanksgiving song title. I guess we'll have to cancel our family Thanksgiving sing-along fest today and wait for Xmas.

There's a song about a Guy that drove from Tennesee to Pennsylvania for Mammas' Pumpkin pie! Pumpkin Pies are GROSSLY OVER-RATED!

"Pumpkin Pies are GROSSLY OVER-RATED!"

In my house, they are grossly over-cooked!

Seeing the title of this thread reminded me of the tour our club takes to southern Ohio every year. We actually drive over the river and through the woods.
