Default Torque tube thrust washer

Can anyone tell me the thickness of the thrust washer in the torque tube - it lies behind the bearing before the speedo drive.

Mine is missing so I am wondering if I should find something that suits or carry on as before.

Thanks in advance

Bob

It looks much the same as the end plate of the roller bearing ---I don't have one to measure in hand but to me it looks like they just used the same dies as the bearing plate, the holes match up---

Use the proper shim, not just any old washer. It has holes in it to allow some lubricant to get to the roller bearing.

I have found that sometimes you need 2 thrust washers to get the speedo gear to be centered in the opening. As long as both washers have the lube holes in them,it will be OK.
