Re: Howell's Sheetmetal Company
I live in lafayette,la, only about 120 mile east of howell's. Went to their shop to buy the only rear fender I could find for 31 tudor. All parts houses were out , didnt call berts , I need a new fender now. People there were really great. Never saw so many metal parts . Got my rear fender and picked up and extra left side both cost 560.00 total. When body man put mine on he was impressed it fit so good. Snyders, mikes, brattons, sac.ca and others couldn't get it. When I was throwing away the box the fender came in, it had the metal shop sticker still attached . The company was from somewhere in pa. I called him and he had been making parts for the A. He was really into the fenders said he was going to start up full throttle soon that was about 3 years ago and I lost my name and tel for him. Worst part is I cant even rememberr the city in PA. have fun modelAtony lafayette,la
