1929 Phaeton Tie Rod installation.
Thanks to this great Forum I managed to remove the old Tie Rod.
The new challenge is the i stallation of the new Tie Rod. I already had a go ar ir, but failed to get the ends over the “balls”. The spring and cup prevent an easy installation. Please help me to install the Tie Rod, |

It can be a little pain, but a rubber mallet helps if you are close. Pack grease in everything beforehand. Also, to install the left side, turn the wheel all the way to the right to give you the most amount of room and vice versa for the right side. Make sure that your tie rod has about the same number of threads showing with the ends installed.
