Default Fasteners to attach dash to cowl on '47 ?

What kind of screws attach the dash to cowl on a 1947 Ford. Mine has been somewhat cobbled together and I'm quite sure I have the wrong screws (this car has the same long screws to attach the dash to the cowl and the windshield frame to the cowl). Thanks.

I just used a zinc plated panhead metal screw. Can't remember if it was a 6 or 8 but the escutcheon that goes around the windshield hides them in any event.

Roy Nacawicz phone: 734-654-9450 has the correct bolt kit to install the dash to the car. Bought mine for my '40 Ford Tudor.
