Hi! i have a Friend that has a 29 Roadster pickup, he has some step plates for it, and would like to put them on. But he is not sure where to put them.Do they go center of the running board? could you guys let me know

Put them best where you foot lands getting in and out. I have them centered between the apron and edge of running board on my 31 Pickup.

Look for the wear spot on your running board, that's where they go

They are not only a step plate, but a scuff guard to keep you from kicking the splash apron and scratching the paint.

My 30 Tudor came with step plates. They are located 10 1/4 inch back from front edge of rubber trim and the bottom of the plate is 3/4 of an inch from the outside edge of the running board. Chap
