Default Banjo wheel stainless rod size?

Anybody got a banjo wheel handy and a micrometer that can measure the spokes, mostly the diameter rod that ford used. I need to replace one and I don’t have my wheel with me at the moment. I am thinking 1/8 inch but want to be sure.

How are you going to replace it, weld, glue etc? How about the little bar that goes across the rods? Just curious, I have one that has one spoke broken.

It is a bar that is on the outer end. I believe the bar that goes across is only attached to the middle bars. I am going to grind off the weld inside the hub that hold them. I have a crack in the rim on that end so I am going to grind the rim down so I can access where it welds to the rim and weld the new one in and restore the rim after.

You are indeed correct. It is not 1/8 inch. I am taking it to my buddy who is a custom welded by trade and he says he can weld the cracks up and polish them to give it an original appearance.
