My 'Barn find"
Seller claimed it was in a barn for years, who knows. Could be an old stamping or one made by those reproducing Ford pickup tailgates. It is a solid brass plate 1/16" thick and it is 11 1/2" X 11 1/2",dimensionally looks the same as 1937-1940 Ford tailgate center logo. It is really a pretty thick piece to have stamped even though it is brass.I bought it to hang on garage wall. Looks like it has some age to it,came out of a barn in New York.

Re: My 'Barn find"
Thank You,seller said it actually was hanging on the side of a barn for years and this was in New York. He knew nothing about Ford stamping in the area. Who knows it could be 70 years old or 10.

Re: My 'Barn find"
I'm guessing that it is a piece from a Ford Motor Company dealer display item.

Re: My 'Barn find"
It is not cast it is stamped and it is a pretty thick piece at 1/16" to do this even though it is softer than steel. In some areas you can see through it where the metal could not stretch anymore and broke through.
