Default What are these off of?

What are these armrests off of? They cam with my 46 coupe and after searching the web I know they are not for that car. I'm not even sure if they are Ford. Any guesses?

This is what the '41 thru '48 book states in regard to armrests. "Arm rests were provided for the driver's side doors in all except Special series cars and DeLuxe and Super DeLuxe station wagons, as well as the righthand doors of all Super Deluxe series cars except station wagons in the 1941- 1948 era". Your car is a Super DeLuxe and should have them. Where on the web states that your coupe did not come with armrests?

Since my car is in the upholstery shop I didn't not want to provide them with the wrong arm rest so I went on line and did a search for "46 Ford for sale" and went through the photos provided. I ended up going to C&G and purchased the correct ones. The attached photo is what my car looked like when I got it. No seats, glass, steering wheel, engine or trans.... so wasn't sure about all the parts that came with it.

If you still have the old door panels, the armrest attach brace or braces should still be with them. If you don't have them, you may need to locate or fabricate some. The braces attach on the inside of the door panel and the armrest attaches to form a complete door panel assembly. The braces usually fit into slots in the door frame to give the armrest some support and help hold the panel firmly to the door.

Agreed on 49-51 and pickups with “five star extra” deluxe cabs
