1939 Convertible Sedan Front Seat
We have purchased a 39 convertible sedan & I have a couple questions. The front seat doesn't want to move. I pull up on the handle at the side of the seat but it won't move. Any ideas on how to free it up?
The ignition key doesn't seem to move freely from locked to unlocked position. Once it goes to unlock I can flip the lever to the start position. We don't have the car here at our house yet so I can't dig into these things yet. It was restored a number of years ago. Thanks. |

Up is the correct direction. Try a hammer. there is a rod under the seat across to the over site. maybe it is damaged. look under the seat.

I will check it out. I'm may have in our possession by the weekend. I'm curious why it won't move.
