Default Badger 8ba pistons

Anybody know much about Badger pistons? I googled and couldn't fine much. I have a set of 8ba .030 over that appear to be "destroked". They only have break in run time, so essentially new. Are they worth putting in a stock motor and shave heads to get decent comression, or are they paper weights. They are 4 ring and considerably heavier than stock Ford pistons. I have no use for them, but ran into a young couple with a newly purchased 1951 F1 at a car show last saturday and they are all excited about flatheads so they came this morning and I gave them a couple blocks and some of the fixin's. Going to help them all I can with the parts I've had sitting on the shelves for years. Thanks.

They will work if there is nothing else available
As you have noted, they have 2 strikes against them to start.

1- They are heavy.
2- They are 4 ring.

Back in the day, thousands of engines were built with "Badger" parts and many of their rebuilt engines and short blocks were used. Considering the general use format for the average F1 leads me to believe the question parts are completely acceptable.
