DMSFRR. Those other wires , turn, parking need to have wiring diagram or picture to see if mine are plugged in the right places. I will do cleaning for grounds, if I run as you suggested a separate ground wire where do I connect , right at that small junction box and do it for each wire? Car has been sitting for quite a while after engine was done so might be plugged in wrong ,john

It depends on which two stop light wires you put the jumper on, and where.

"power at two wires.???" Which ones?

There are 2 power wires for each of the; hi/low headlamps, front parking/turn signal, and the tail/brake light bulbs.
Each bulb has two different filaments, one for each function and a common connection within the bulb that must go to electrical ground, usually the body of the car. If any of the connections aren't good the bulb circuit won't work correctly.

You shouldn't need to run extra ground wires, except for testing purposes.
Here's a '57 wiring diagram. Not in color but the wires are labeled and you can zoom in on it.
