You can not delete your own thread, only can delete your replies to it. However you can edit your own thread. Just click on the blue edit button. Rod

As already said, you can edit or delete the message portion of a thread that you made, but you cannot edit or delete the title. So the "Victory" in this thread is that you learned how to edit messages you send.

Hey ora,
Like Rowdy said, you aren't allowed to 'delete' the thread. And, I just found that I couldn't even delete and/or edit...my own edit !

BTW, misss spelled words can be corrected , changed and/or eliminated via edit button process.

You can edit the title by clicking on the " Go Advanced" button that is on the edit page. Rod

"Go Advance" button will allow you to remove the title on your tread , but not on Ford Barn title. I haven't found a way to remove it. 40cpe was correct.

Hi Everyone, Little known fact, JM let me know a long time ago that there is a TEST FORUM here on the 'Barn. Here's a link.

https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=13

I was just in there playing around with changing the title to a thread, successfully thanks to the above advice.

I use ths feature after I sell an item in the swap page. Add SOLD to the title and discription, delete the pic's and delete any of my replies. I think it is the gentlemanly thing to do to get the add out of the way for other that still have their stuff for sale. Rod

Jeff, on the Gettysburg ENM thread that I started in 2013 and kept it active until June of this year, I tried every way I could think of to make a change to that thread title and nothing worked. I have had the same problem on some for sale and wanted ads. I tried every way from Sunday to make changes and nothing worked. I was able to make changes to the title of a thread I started on the Test Forum soon after I made the initial post. I am wonder if there is a window of time allowed to make a title change and once that time expires, no changes to the title can be made? I can do "go advanced" and make a title change but that does not change the main thread title that everyone can see on the main page. I guess I will always be a "limited abilities" computer geek
