Dake power hammer
Anyone use and/or have comments about the Dale power hammer?
Used with shrinking dies, planishing and forming dies. |

Re: Dake power hammer
Or you could post your question on MetalMeet.com
The Dake reciprocating is one of several similar hammer designs that are out there. It is a machine that smaller than a Pullmax, and can do a lot of the same things on sheet metal. It is of a fixed stroke, so planishing can be done if careful not overload the machine. So as a shrinker (with thumbnail dies) and forming dies they can work great, but you limited to the throat depth of the machine. They are plans available to build a similar machine, if you are interested. Actually, before Dake purchased the design, the machine was the Anoka Power Hammer; which had plans available at one time for sale. |
