I have or had a 39 Ford dash for a Conv. Coupe. I am trying to determine if all deluxe dashes are the same or is it like 35 & 36 with Conv. Sedan & Cabriolet alike and others different. Thanks for your help.

39 convertible ( and station wagon ) dashboards are quite different from the sedan/coupe ones. Mainly the ends are tapered and therefore narrower, and the top is flatter.
The glovebox lid is tapered and the hinge is different.
There is a curve on either side of the radio cut-outs also.
