Default Hershey List

Are we going to put together a list of where we all are at Hershey or has someone kept the one from last year that they could put up on the forum ?

RNH38 Red Field, B area, north of the star pavilion, under the #5 light pole. Not sure if I'm gonna try to vend anything.

I'll be at RCA 106 beside the old stadium or at least my '35 fordor sedan (avatar car) will be parked there. I usually bring a few parts marked with prices and have my cell phone number on a sheet of paper with the parts. If the weather is nice, I am usually walking around admiring all the rusty stuff.

We've got new spots this year. Don't know the numbers yet, but they are in the Choc field south, just over the bridge behind the food vendors.

Does that gentleman from Model A group still do that chili cook off/BBQ free for all? That was one heck of spread. I think he went by Rainmaker Ron.

If there's a grille for a '37 Fordor sedan that can be plated ,and reasonably priced in your stash of parts, bring it to Hershey and I'll buy it.

Gonna try a one day Hershey tomorrow (Tuesday) for the first time in a while. I'll see how long my money and feet hold out. (Doesn't look too good for weather...)

Update:
So, my brother and I did the one day thing today (Tuesday.) Weather was beautiful- sunny in the morning and overcast in the afternoon. Crowd was very thin. Vendors were very spread out or setting up. Some of the setting up folks didn't want any body looking over their stuff. Most food vendors weren't open, but enough were. We were able to see most of what was there without tripping over others. Saw a beautiful '32 front crossmember and asked, "How much?" The guy said, "Ask the guy here who just bought it." Rats!!! Maybe I'll do Tuesday next year too.

For all, Hershey Wed-Thurs was about as perfect a weather scenario as you can get save for the stronger than normal wind at times. Cool, partly sunny, no rain, and plenty of vendors having great stuff. Tried to check in on as many 'Barners and HAMB'rs as possible - some were home, some were not. Found some sweet deals(32 5-win decklid was one - thanks to one of my buds Ross for finding it), spent more money than I ever thought I would (duhhhh - it's Hershey ....), and had a great time hangin out with my buds .....

If you were not there you missed a great couple of days but I do thank you for leaving the good deals for me to find - ....
