Default Identify an Original Fan

I have 2 Fans that I think are originals. Could you guys help me identify them for me . The one that has no paint on it has crimping marks all the way around the blades. The Black one is smooth all the way around it. Are they both originals or are they aftermarket ? I think the one with no paint based on the J S is the one from 1928- the end of production, and the black one is from mid-to late 1930 to the end of production . I am not using this fan on my Truck ,I have an Aluminum one that I use. I just need a clarify what they are. Thanks

Both appear to be original and both SHOULD look like the unpainted one.

I am not aware of any repro steel fan that looks like the ford original.

They are both original fans. If you strip the painted one, you are likely to see the weld marks on the edge like the other one. Plus, you can then inspect it for cracks.

they both look original to me too. Some one filled the welding along the edge of the black fan, probably with filler primer. If they're to be judged, the seam should be apparent, not filled.
