The roof is aluminum like the rest of the body, there's no fabric insert.

Thanks for the info DavidG !!! The car I saw had a companion Pierce Arrow & booth had trees growing between the bumpers & body. Two years later they had both vanished .?

You beat me to it! The last two of your sets of numbers are for Zephyrs. For those years for the Ks, they are K9001 through K9,450 for the '38s and K9451 through K9674 for the '39s.


I once owned one of the 223 '39s, a LeBaron-bodied convertible sedan with a division window, one of three produced.

Got a report from a friend and the Lincoln brought 2k. Really nice 37 truck cab brought 225 Guess there wasn't a good turnout and everything went dirt cheap. I guess the scrap got the shed full of engines. He said the highest bidder number he seen was 115.
