hi everyone: can anyone tell me for sure that a 1940 Ford standard/pickup grille assembly would fit in to a 1940 Mercury car? and vice versa

FORD
39 deluxe - 40 standard - 40 and 41 pickup …. will basically interchange

MERCURY
39 and 40 I believe will bolt in place of each other but I think hoods differ were they meet the grill

Ford don’t fit Merc and visa - versa

every comment has pointed to the FACT that they will NOT interchange. I think you misread "No, different" there is a comma meaning NO, they are different. why would you keep bumping to the top?
PS. they are not the same
