Default What should I do trunk rack?

Hey guys,

I need so advice, when I purchased my car it came with a metal trunk that matched the color of the car.

But it appears that either someone put a front bumper on the rear? Has anyone had any luck attaching a luggage rack to a full width bumper? Should I make some plates to raise up the connectors for the luggage rack to attach to the full bumper or should I replace the bumper with a split bumper?

Thoughts? And pictures of your trunks would be great.

they put trunk racks on Model A`s with full bumpers all the time. you just need to have the right rack and the right brackets. put a picture of the rack on here.

I bought my trunk rack about 20 years ago from Snyder’s. It is the trunk rack that is commonly sold today. Works perfectly in my application. I do have a right side mounted spare.
