I notice my 55 crown vic has wider pleats in the seat covers than some other crown vics..What gives??

Maybe the seats were redone sometime in the past???

If I remember right there were two different sizes for the pleats in 55.

Yes there are two different sizes,I think the pleats that are heat sealed is the early version and the wider tuck and roll style are the later. I have a very late 55 sunliner that has the same interior with the wider pleat.
