Default To all a good night :)

A long but fruitful day today. Now it's time for a shower, some dinner and a good brandy.

Neat touch on the convt. trunk lid upper corners. It will suit the car. You have earned your keep. Bryan

I get where you are coming from, your work drains you, but also fulfills you. That's how it's supposed to be. A good day at work is a very important thing and a brandy or a 'touch of the recipe' as the Baldwin Sisters would say is well deserved in these days of troubled times.

I get a great sense of achievement when something goes well. I hope you have that same sense, Mike.

Were it always "something goes well" as old Ford restorations have at least their fair share of the other variety.

Might that be Korbel brandy after dinner?

Yes sir, the XS (extra smooth).

You probably know that the only state that consumes more brandy than Wisconsin is your state, California. Considering your population vs. ours, methinks we're doing a good job

Secret?

There was a Korbel that came to market a few years back made in 1999 or so. Aged 18 years. They only made about 7500 bottles. By the time I'd found out about it, I could only locate two cases down in Chicago. Stuff was around $50 for a small bottle. By far, the best brandy I'd ever had.
I had always wondered why such a small batch was made.

I thought your avatar car was sitting just an inch or so low in the trunk area.....Even with those overload springs engaged.

Probably so that they could semi-justify $50 a pop! DD

That's funny

The reason for NASCAR and that evolved from hot Ford's from the Flathead era
from what I have read.

That’s funny GB, my car does in fact have an overload spring in the rear. That coupe really was a hauler back in the day. All the bracing for the spare tire has been cut out. Raise the trunk lid and it goes all the way to the seat.
