If I could afford it, I'd take it all as-is!

You have to wonder what will happen to all those cars, parts and other things. An amazing collection. I would bet a lot of that will wind up being sold as scrap and sent out of this country.

I bet that was not a investment to him. That was a addiction. Like my wife with purses and shoes.

What a testimony to 'you can't take it with you'. Hope all the treasures find great homes.

Who wants to go into the parts business with me? Looks like Disney World for Ford enthusiasts.

I can't believe peoples' families don't work out these situations before it's too late. Just got a bunch of stuff from an estate sale right up the street, house was untouched just put prices on e'thing- very depressing scene. This guy had a lot of fun and a lot of passion for collecting stuff, must skip generations. Lot of cool cars will be back in the light of day instead of squirreled away though, at least these collections get spread out and back into public view for more folks to learn from when it goes like this. I keep telling my folks to sell all their junk, buy plane tickets to travel while they still can and then die broke! I do wanna see those firetrucks though...

Two things:

1. I had to show my wife this so I could prove I'm not as bad as she thinks. It didn't work.
2. That will be a long long auction and you Will need a plan.

I think I have my wife talked into me going. I might bid on a car. But I mainly want parts. And look for some bodies that can be saved. I think some stuff will go cheap. Some you will be bidding against the scrap people.

I wonder how many people were told, not for sale, I'm going to restore it when I get the time.

I'm selling off my spares on flea bay as we speak. When I go my wife will put it out on the curb in the trash. Would rather convert to cash and see someone get the use of the part.
