Thumbs down Re: Two-Door Ford and Mercury Wagons

This was an attempt (not production) to hopefully emulate this -

No cigar, not even close. CHEV put the hurt on FORD right at this period. It pains me to admit it.

And that luggage rack has to go.

WHY? would you even consider using a low quality, poor performing CHI-COM knock off distributor in your classic early Y-Block Ford and starring at you every time you open your hood?

When you start installing those low grade parts you might as well just bolt in a 350 Chevy/350 trans and a 3.50 gear and build a belly button car.

I think it says Courier on the quarter panel. I'm pretty sure they had Courier's with side windows in '60.

scicala, You are correct. Here is a Colour Advertisement for the 1960 Ford Courier.
I presume that that means that there would be no back seat in teh Courier??

Original Sales Brochures showing the various 1960 Ford Police Vehicles that were available.
Take a look at the Station Wagon, top right on the second page, and you will see that it is titled "60 Ford Ranch Wagon"?
