Not that, which is a sales brochure. The photo below is of one of the dealer album's many pages. Note the horizontal orientation of the 8 1/2 x 11 pages. The cover was dark brown leatherette with gold lettering and it does not photograph all that well. It was re-printed years ago without a cover, but not with the original ink colors. The originals are a rare item.

Re: 1932 Ford dealer album photo needed
My first trip to Hershey in 1990 I saw one in the old Green field down by the low spot that gathered water. Guy wanted $2500 for it then. The only one I have ever seen with my own eyes, not a photograph.

I guess I''m lucky in seeing two, Picture #1 was 2005 at the Western National in Breckenridge CO and Picture #2 was in San Diego in 2007.

I believe I have 42 glossy, black and white, 8 X 10 photos of various pages of the 32 dealers album. If you know what page or what photo you wish, I could scan and email it to you.

Re: 1932 Ford dealer album photo needed
Many years ago I found these two covers in Lancaster, KY no parts just some neat literature. I bought one of the repo insides just to put in the cover but have never found the truck lit.

Thank you for the valued feedback.
My friend told me they are super rare and I just recently found and bought one from a fellow V8er in Ga. Just trying to see if what I bought was the real McCoy and after reading this information I believe it is. |

Re: 1932 Ford dealer album photo needed
Fortunately our individual tastes are just that, individual. I've always thought that the '32 Victoria proportions were ill suited for its 106" wheelbase, unlike the same body type Lincoln KA with 30" more inches of wheelbase where the proportions work beautifully (at least for me). As a result, the Victoria is the only North American body type '32 that I have not owned at least one example.
Back on track, thanks deuce5wndw for posting the photos of the original covers of the two dealer covers. The car version was actually the same as that for Model As and the dealers were sent new inserts to replace Model A printed pages inside. Perhaps the truck album cover was carried forward as well. Your photo of the reproduction pages show the ink color difference that I referred to earlier. (The original pages were printed in black and red, not blue and red.) Re: 1932 Ford dealer album photo needed
You are very welcome. I agree about the Model A because most of what I found was Model A era like the postcard in the last photo. There was also the inventory pages with all years of model A they had ordered with engine numbers and even the key code numbers.

I have an incomplete set of the '33 version of the truck album inserts plus the cover. They evidently got a lot of mileage out of the covers.

DavidG, would you be interested to share those ? If you would message me, perhaps we could work something out. I have a '33 pickup and try to collect relative literature. thanks.

If the one you bought came from Athens GA it is the real McCoy, I can assure as I owned it at one time, and it has a neat story behind it.
