Default I need a set of .020 32-38 rod bearings

Need a set of .020 (68-6211) rod bearings. The rod size is standard, and the crank side is .020 over. I have been all over the web and have not been able to find .020 size. Seems as there are alot of odd sizes for sale. Most people are using 59ab engines and not rebuilding the stock ones, I had no idea how hard they would be to find. The machine work is done on my 37 engine. Any help would be Greatly appreciated. Thanks Ron

Try Fred Wilner, Southside Obsolete, Faribualt MN. He has a web site with his phone number.

Thanks for the help, I have some feelers out there. If KiWinUS could find a set that would be GREAT. Thanks Ron

Good luck with your search. Your best bet will be contacting the folks that frequent this site or HAMB. I ran into the exact same trouble 4 years ago with my '36 motor. None of the parts vendors had them, even though most of them listed them in their online catalog (at least they used to). I ended up spending about a day on the phone looking for them 'old school' (no internet). The ones I was looking for were also 0.020/STD, and I got all but one pair from EGGE. I may have exhausted their supply of them but you might try them anyway. I don't remember now where the 4th pair came from but it seems to me it was from a guy in St. Cloud, MN. I will see if I have anything on it in my files later and let you know.

If you have the old Federal Mogul numbers I may have some. Several boxes of old bearings and unable to find the part numbers in the only FM book I have. Seems like all the parts in the book are 1946 and newer. Rod

Thanks again for all your help. I found a set of federal mogul standard bearings on ebay. The # they used is 9020 ca. Also if KiWinUS could look in his stash I would appreciate it. Thanks Ron

I will do some digging. For some reason I had set back a set of 9805's thinking that was the correct FM part number. Will see what I have in 9020's as that number rings a bell. Thanks Rod

Looks like the 9805's are for the later flatheads. Still have not gotten to dig for the ones you are looking for. Rod
