hey guys, I have a set of 31 headlights that have been converted to sealed beam. id like to convert them back, simply for the look. my unit is 12 v so I'm going to buy a set of reflectors with halogens in them. my question is, havening never taken ether style apart, what do I need. obviously the reflector, and lense but is the ring different or how does all that work inside

Reflector, lense, and gasket is all you should need besides wiring.

My guess is that your ring would work but we really need a picture. I would go with the reflectors from Bratton's, Bratton's Ford Parts, (301) 829-9880 and the bulbs from Ron Francis, Ron Francis Wire Works, https://www.ronfrancis.com, (800) 292-1940. If you think all reflectors are the same read the archives. You also need gaskets and maybe wiring and sockets depending upon how you go.
