Default 1950 Fordor Mirror removal?

Hi everyone. My name is Rich. I've got a 1950 Custom deluxe with an 8BA.I've had my Fordor for a few months now. I rewired the engine bay and dash, I've got the OD working, I pulled the dash out and repainted it, did some suspension work and brake work. I've felt pretty good about getting everything working except for one problem! The drivers side mirror. I cannot figure how to get it off. Pulled the inner panel and didn't expose anything. tried sticking a few allen wrenches in the hole that's in the mirror's arm. Am I missing something? How in the world does this thing come off? Gotta get done before this weekends 4th Annual East vs. West Flathead reliability run! Thanks in advance.

Rich, Welcome to the Forum, and congrats on your Ford! If after trying phillips head drivers, you still cannot get the head off the mirror, try calling Shoebox Ford, someone there may know the exact driver you need:
