The Ford Barn

Took the boss lady out to dinner several weekends ago,on our drive out in the country,I spied an 48-50 ford truck out behind a house,on our way back by there I talked her into stopping and inquiring about the truck,the usual story they were going to do something with it someday(we've all heard that one before) but I did ask if I could look at it anyways, the lady who was home was nice enough and allowed me go into the backyard and look the truck over, I took several pictures and checked the usual areas ( I will be back in the future to again ask about the truck!!) but the truck had a hood ornament that I haven't seen anywhere else,I was just curious if any of y'all had seen one or could perhaps point me in the direction of this one.

The picture is small. Appears to be similar to a 1946 car

I have seen a few trucks that had hood ornaments that appeared to be made for the trucks.
This was back in the fifties and sixties. I am courious too about these ornaments, were they a truck accessory or what? Charles

Good looking hood ornament on a truck setting out back. Don't even have to polish it.
