Default 32 roadster

Anyone know a source for the pegs that screw in windshield frame the side curtains hook to? It takes 8 ,4 per side, also wiper motor,is shaft nut all that holds motor or are there other bolts? Trying to figure out if someone has drilled extra holes, worked on several modele a's ,first 32
Thanks

I don't remember a shaft nut on the roadster wiper, I think you have the wrong wiper. How about a picture?

Two machine screws through the windshield frame hold the wiper motor to the frame.

Standard or deluxe model roadster? The standard had an inside-mounted mirror mounted as deuce roadster indicated and no outside mirror. The deluxe had a post-mounted outside mirror and no inside mirror.

The original '32 side curtain studs on the windshield frame were made of brass formed over a steel base with sheet metal threads on the stud. In that regard they were unique as the '33-'36 versions were machined in one piece. They were also the very short #1 size and all the replacements I've seen are either # 1 1/2 or longer. If you're real fussy about originality, about the only way to have the originals is to re-plate them.

There are excellent reproductions of the post-mounted mirror available, in part because it was carried over from use on '30-'31 deluxe open cars. Except for very early '32s, which used a mirror that was identical to the Model A version in all respects, the later '32 mirror has a different thread size where it is attached to the windshield post (3/8-24 versus 7/16-20 for the Model A version).

Your questions suggest that you would find the Early Ford V8 Club's book, The 1932 Ford Book, A Restoration Guide and Production Chronicle, to be useful to you in your endeavors. It's 620 pages of detailed information plus thirty more as addendum on the Club's website, including the mirror references discussed above.

Your wiper should look a lot like the one for sale at: https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=201470 The main difference being when mounted yours should have the semicircular part pointed up and the vacuum line on the left. How about a picture of yours?
