Default Lucas Hub Oil again

When I first read postings about Hub Oil being good, I purchased some. After reading later posts I shelved my purchase. The label says for Transmissions and Rear Ends, so I put Hub Oil in my 29 and 31. It made mine shift much better. My 29 has A Ryan overdrive known to be noisy, sure did quiet it down. On the 31 I changed the trans and rear it also shifts better! Hub oil does not appear to be as thick as STP but thicker than the old 600 I drained out.

The advantage I gained by using the hub oil is dissapearing. I'm wondering if it is breaking down or? I'm going to take the car out on a few mile drive and then drain the trans and see what it looks like. I'm thinking possibly by not letting the 600W drain long enough, some of the goo was still in there and mixing with the hub oil caused issues? Don't know but after a few hundred miles it is not shifting as nice as it did right away. However, it still feels very smooth, when I get a gear "click" it is not harsh as it was with the 600W.
