Default 29 ccpu roof wood meets door pillar

Where the door header wood meets the door pillar, there is a plate with 3 holes, do I use 3 wood screws or 3 machine bolts with nuts?

Where the front wood header meets the other 2 plates L & R, with 3 holes on left and 3 holes on right, do I use 3 wood screws or 3 machine screws with nuts per side ?

thanks

Thanks, where the front wood header overhangs the metal header, there is about 2" of exposed wood, how is it covered?
thanks again

The underside of the front wood header is only covered by the visor when it is installed.

I just looked at mine (peeked between the visor and overhang.) I can see where I cut off the edge of top covering just below the hidem welt. The wood is painted body color (green.)

Were I to do this today I would wrap the top covering underneath and staple it "upwards" with stainless steel staples.

The top covering (raw edge or staples) is really effectively covered by the visor.

On the sides the aluminum gutters hides the raw edge. (In those days you couldn't buy the original correct two piece gutters.)
