1954 Ranch Wagon Stainlee Trim Install
When I bought my new (to me) Ranch Wagon it was missing the driver’s side stainless trim piece that goes just above the bumper. I found a NOS trim piece on Epay but I'm not sure exactly how it installs. Does it just snap by in by itself or are there clips that attach to the body that the stainless then attaches to? I tried a test fit to see if it would snap in by itself but it didn't seem right and I didn't want to force it and tweak the trim piece. Thanks for this and for the good advice I already received about the metal seat side cover question I previously posted.

How did you come across the PN? Do you have a 49/59 FORD MPC?

You are more than welcome.
There is also a retainer used but it appears (to me) that it is still there. If you need that info, the PN is B4A 8192-A and a photo is below- |

Pried the clips out this morning after hitting them with some PB. They came loose pretty much intact and can probably be reused but I still think I'll order some from the link provided. I'm sure when the wagon gets painted I'll need them and others as well for the body.
