People who have seen my car 1000 times have only seen the top up in driving rain or snows.

Having a roadster or phaeton, and never putting the top down, is the silliest thing I have ever heard !

Nice pic,, old airplanes and even older cars go together.. To bad that 26 is breaking the 11th commandment [ tow-bar]..

That is a great pic of the 2 and the Cabriolet, the apple green wheels are sharp! 11th commandment lol, I love it! We had a tow bar for the space shuttle, it was about 3 times the size of that one.

The consensus is just as I thought. Riding around with the top down has little or no detrimental effects.

When ever I see people in an open car they always look like they are having a great time, top up or top down.

Just this past weekend our club went out to lunch. One of the members raised the top and for a moment I wondered what member owned the new car.

I don't have top rests for my 28 Phaeton and I've never driven it with the top down.

I did have it half way down 2 years ago so I could stitch a tear in the top material.
