Came across this looking for parts for my truck. I know I've seen people looking for these trucks.

Too bad it is so far away I'd buy it in a heartbeat. The steam railroad I volunteer for could use it to clear parking lots and driveways for our Christmas trains.

cab looks like a 42, not a 52? price is right for what you have, too many undone projects for me to consider it.

42-47 for sure, not a 52. The hood is a giveaway. The fenders don't show too well, but it is the earlier truck, from what I can see.

Aww, come on Mr. Jones. Twenty years ago, I flew into Longville, Texas and picked up a '36 3-window I bought sight unseen (I wanted one that bad) and drove it back to Minnesota. Looking back, the trip had lots of high points, including vapor-locking in Muskogee Oklahoma when it was 102 degrees. stalling with a clogged fuel line on the Indian Nation Turnpike, also in Oklahoma. I finally made it to Kansas, and when I turned on the dome light to see the gauges better, it promptly blew the one fuse in the lighting system and I had to follow a slow moving semi 30 miles to Pittsburg, Kansas. I had to stop for gas in Kansas City, and it was in the worst part of town. I was in such a hurry to get out of there that I left the oil filler cap on the pump and had to put up with the fumes the rest of the way.

I hope you can see now that I am kidding, especially with a big truck and all the way cross-country. The fact that I made it in two days without seriously injuring myself or the car, brings back some fond memories. It could have been a disaster.
