Default Mitchell overdrive

For you guys that have recently installed a Mitchell overdrive in your V8, how long did it take from the time you ordered it until you received it. I talked to a very nice lady but she was a little vague about how long it might take. Anyone?

I don't remember. I think it took a little time as they might do them in batch orders. So it depends on when they are doing a run. Maybe a month or two for me. Good people and good product. Worth the wait in my opinion. It's not something you order of amazon.

Little story... I ordered some sand cast wheels for my hit'miss out of Pennsylvania from the Amish. You send a letter to them for a request, few months later the wheels come in the mail with an invoice.

I got an estimate a few weeks ago and was told there is a four month wait to get the unit.

Eh??? Mitchell has always done runs. They don't stock. It's quite literally a Mom and Pop (and sons) operation.

Things will pickup shortly in other sectors of life. Not sure it applies to NOS parts less we are talking about 2020 mustangs. But there will probably be some cyclops mustang manic out there that is making a better part in his or her garage you can buy online.
