Default bolt that holds folding top irons Cabriolet?

Hi,

I am looking for the pair of original nickel plated 5/16-18 thread special bolts to buy (or a picture of what they look like) that hold the folding top iron to the mid-bow metal landau bracket.

I have a std. hex bolt for now.

Picture attached.

Thanks,
Kim

go and search the swap for sale for Cabriolet shoulder bolts. I had some made out of stainless a while back. they are a 5/16 NC thread shoulder bolt with a 5/8" head on them. I sold them all out. but the post is still there.

Bert's has these listed. I got one of these for my 68-C, but unfortunately, the shoulder on the bolt would not fit through the iron without first drilling/enlarging the hole in the iron (which I was not willing to do). You might check with Steve on these and get his thoughts, but otherwise, I'm afraid that these will need to be hand-made.

Thanks. Trying Bert's for now. Then will look for my originals which may have been forgotten and left at the nickel plating shop 6 months ago...Or in a box of stuff somewhere.

Bert’s has 900 of them, we made 1000 a couple years ago.
