Smile Shackles

Hi All,

Would appreciate if anyone has a couple of NOS ones that they are willing to sell, i have contacted Fred and unfortunately he does not have any.

or if you have someone i could potentially contact that may have a couple it would be appreciated.

Are your brackets bad? or do you just need new pins and bushings?

How about boring them out and installing a bushing.

Hey Guys,

Just thought i would update on the shackle saga, so i ended up milling out the hole and inserting a sleeve, then installed a bronze bush,. Was getting nowhere looking for a descent shackle. Attached a couple of pics.

Cheers

Corey

Agreed, great work. Our pal Charlie NY saved a pair of '32 shackles for me by doing the same.
