Default If only I had won the lottery.

I don't know what the total value of these cars is but I know that it is more than I can afford.

Thanks for the post. I just sold my Leatherback to make mortgage payments so I'm out of the running on this purchase, but a guy can always dream. And buy lottery tickets.

More than a little hyperbole there. Barn find?!? Appreciating assets? I guess if the price is low enough, that could be true. Nice looking cars, though.

Looks like the owner was a big Phaeton fan.

be nice if they posted a price. they would all fit in my garage with my '29 coupe and '29 pickup, but my wife's car would have to be left outside, and she would not allow that...

I strongly suspect that whoever is handling the sale knows very little of Model A's and the radiator is placed there to make the car look more complete. There's no way that a hood is going to fit over the engine with that radiator on the front. Most likely the correct one is there somewhere amongst the parts hoard.

Nice cars! No offense and I love my "A's", I've got two of them. But if I win the lottery, it sure ain't going to be Model-A Fords that I collect. More like Packards and Cadillacs with maybe a Duesenburg thrown in if there is any money left.

The street rod comment at the end is very disheartening.

I'm a hotrodder at heart, but only a fool would mess with these cars. (That doesn't mean they aren't out there)

Asking price is. $340,000.00 U.S. Or $375,000.00 Canadian or best offer. Even though I did have an interest, I won't be taking a drive to see them. Wayne

Agreed George. Too nice at least appearing to be cut up for rods!! Anyway if they were maybe some of the better original parts would be sold off to a restorer.

I agree too w/ Bob-A, if I hit the Lottery I'm afraid the shed would be filled up with 60's Ford muscle to sit beside our A and maybe my old '29 Tudor if I could get it back oh and would also have to have a '35 or '36 three window coupe!!

I did some math (FUZZY MATH) and it seems they are placing some major value on the movie connections for a couple of the cars. 9 Model A + one Buick. There must be a pile of great parts. Some cars may or may not all be restored "correctly" ie: light top on 28/29 Phaeton. Allowing for future appreciation in ones lifetime I used $18,000 per Model A X 9 equals $ 162,000. Is the Buick and parts worth the remainder? What value is appropriate for Movie connection. Did I miss something?
