Default Nu-Rex cutout for 6 volt positive ground 1930 pickup

Hi,
Putting a rebuilt generator on truck looking at a Nu-Rex cutout to install on generator has anyone used this on there cars or trucks.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

The diode cutouts in general are popular and widely used. Diode cutouts with an integrated heat sink cost around $20 more than those without, but tend to last longer. Remember that most diode cutouts, including Nu-Rex, do not include a voltage regulator. For that you need a hard-to-find Fun Projects cutout or the also-hard-to-find Tom Wesenberg.
