Question Old Thread

A few weeks backI saw a link showing the evolution of the Flathead with photos on this forum. I can't find it now. Does anyone remember the thread or the link? Thanks.

What is a poured rabbit bearing? Maybe that's why the article says early flatheads burned oil. We had some rabbits once and they don't seem like they would make good bearings.

A "rabbit bearing" is a specialized bearing (mainly sold for GM products) that allows a temporary peace of mind. Sometimes referred to as a "rabbit's foot".
