Re: 1929 T Cheap
and it runs and drives!
I'm surprised he's not telling us it's a "barn find". He is using the "family owned since new" line though... |

I wonder how they know it has matching numbers. Did they lift the body and peek?

Re: 1929 T Cheap
The scary part is that someone might just buy it thinking it all that and more.
I was going to E-mail them to correct his ad, at least get the Model "A" part down, but no........more fun to see how long its up. |

Re: 1929 T Cheap
The sad thing is that someone will probably pay over the top for this car. Just goes to show that "sizzle" still sells.

Re: 1929 T Cheap
And the accessory battery kill switch - not a bad idea but they could have mounted it in a less conspicuous location.
So did I - told them it's an A since T production ended in 1927 and they've got it priced more than double what NADA says it's worth. Didn't expect any reaction and sure didn't get any. Course, it may be priced in Canadian dollars - that'll save the buyer about $550 US. |

Re: 1929 T Cheap
It's nice with the exterior back door handle pointing straight up. Looks much better than running them parallel with the ground.

Re: 1929 T Cheap
Woohoo! Just made my town sedan go up in value. This looks like Mecum prices. Looks like a Murray body and those are the least rare body style. Means my Briggs has to be 3x that!!!! :P

Door handle like that made it easier, when it was a Taxi for the Cabby to open the rear door without getting out of the cab. :< }
