Default Starts runs stops

29 Model a pickup has Not been run in a year. It starts runs for a short period then dies. Thinking carb or gas feed. Any ideas or suggestions appreciated. Thanks Pete.

Remove the drain plug from the carb into a clear jar check for water. Let the fuel flow you should have a good stream, not like a 90 yr old man as stated by a grandson. No fuel or slow stream, remove gas tank cap, clean or replace filters, that's a good start.

If gas flow is good , It could be a bad condenser or coil instead . A bad condenser or coil can sometimes work good until it warms up and will then cease to function until it cools a while .

Check your fuel filters including the screen in the carb inlet. Also make sure your inlet valve is opening up all the way.
