I'm restoring a 59 Edsel Ranger, 292 with Mile-o-matic 2sp. Going over the trans and replacing seals and o-rings and adjusting the bands.

The tailshaft has what I believe is a rubber dust boot. It's about 2 to 2 1/2" long and slips over the end of the tailshaft and then of course the drive shaft yolk slips in. This is not the oil seal on the tailshaft but a separate boot. The current one is 61 years old, cracked, brittle and missing some sections.

I can't find this boot for sale anywhere. I know it is not really required but just wondering if anyone has replaced one and if so where did you get it?
