Be careful about storing a crankshaft on end. It will eventually droop over like a wilted flower!
And if you hang it in a rack it will eventually stretch out like a piece of spaghetti and not fit in the block anymore!

years ago i returned home from an auction with a bunch stuff, and some bare model T blocks got unloaded in the driveway to be moved later. i brought a new girlfriend home that night, i even warned her not to trip on an engine...but she did anyway, and it was MY FAULT !!! how women think we will never know. she never came back, by the way
