40 ford fordoor. Still need help with rear armrest
Still cannot figure out the rear arm rest. Ordered new interior. Have the metal arm rest with the hook on back. I know it needs foam on top but how does the cloth attach down below the metal of the armrest. I know the seat helps hold it in. Is a thin wooden board supposed to go there to tack it to or what. Havent had much luck with other people's pictures. Have seen 2 different things but I have the interior cloth to cover it but what else is missing? I'm trying to upload my pictures but will email upon request

Re: 40 ford fordoor. Still need help with rear armrest
The stock rear arm rest on a two-many door is NOT metal but a formed piece of fiber board that fits down to the floor. Without finding those pieces you'll have to do some fabrication to make things work...
