I feel left out again. The B's were formatted *AB5xxxxxx* for the first approximately sixty two thousand vehicles and then *B5xxxxxx* for the remainder of the production. Van Pelts site referenced in post #3 shows the location of the serial numbers on the frame. The number for a four cylinder was stamped into the flywheel housing instead of into the transmission case as it was on the V8. And now all we need is the real question.
