Default Briggs sill step plates

Does any one know what time frame Briggs started using the embossed step plates. Re 29 Town Sedan.
Thanks

I am assuming you are referring to the cross hatch step plates that say FORD under the doors. I think that Briggs used them on all three years of Townsedan production.
